I am assuming you work in the states, due to your wage, and I agree serving in the states was some of the easiest money I have ever made. How much do they pay you guys an hour? We make around $2.65 an hour and 15% is an average tip, a good tip is 20% and up!When we get 10% that's considered crap. I guess we are spoiled. Where I work now the tabs are pretty high and I can make an average of $10.00 tip from a 2 top and a $20.00 and up from a 4 top so sometimes all I have is like 8 tables and even after tipping out $25.00 to the bar, bussers, expo ect ect I can easily walk out with $120.00 after 4-5 hours! I thought you should know though that he has been diagnosed with multiple disorders...Autism and Torrets being just 2 of them. He has a tendency to fixate on things and has very little social skills. I guess it is a good thing that his hot aunt took the pressure off, but he was looking forward to reading what you wrote and quite frankly unless you know the background you should keep such comments to yourself or find a different job.
